GRODAN group promotes greenhouse vegetables with GroentenFruit Bureau at International Green Week
Last week the GRODAN group was present at the International Green Week Berlin, together with the GroentenFruit Bureau and various horticulture chain partners, to promote greenhouse vegetables amongst German consumers. Here, the chain partners set up an impressive presentation to explain the fact that greenhouse vegetables are high quality vegetables: not only tasty and healthy, but also produced in a safe and sustainable manner.

Sustainable Growing Plaza at Horti Fair
Four horticultural chain partners DLV Plant, Grodan, Koppert Biological Systems and Nunhems are bringing their knowhow together at the Horti Fair in Amsterdam, held from 30 October until 2 November 2012, to support sustainable greenhouse growing. The ‘Sustainable Growing Plaza’ in hall 8, is the name of the platform designed for synergies between the four partners. Additionally, the partners will hold a joint Sustainable Growing seminar at the Horti Fair.

Harold Van Gool (51) has been appointed Sales Director North America for the Grodan Group. He will succeed Chris Marshall who has accepted the position of Sales Director North America at the Rockfon Group. Harold brings with him more than 25 years of business development and management experience.

Grodan Group joins The Sustainability Consortium
The Grodan Group has become a member of The Sustainability Consortium (TSC), an independent global organization that creates sustainability standards for consumer products, including fresh produce. The Consortium is made up of 90 members including retailers, suppliers, non-profits and government agencies.

Grodan Group opens production line in Canada
The Grodan Group is expanding production capacity and will commence production in July of this year on a newly installed line at the Roxul Inc. facility in Milton, Canada.
