e-Gro Release: Never miss important growing info – get tagged and notified in e-Gro

The new e-Gro Notifications option takes digital collaboration to a higher level by allowing you to send and receive messages and images in real-time within your e-Gro platform. e-Gro Product Marketing Manager, Paulina Florax, and User Experience Lead, Eloy van der Harst: “Being able to click from the message directly to your specific crop data environment provides valuable context when discussing crop performance or during activities such as crop registration. This is a request from our e-Gro users, so we’ve added this option into the platform.”

For tomato growers in Europe for example, this new feature comes at time when many greenhouses are vulnerable to the Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) which is known to reduce crop yield by as much as 30%. Being able to share pictures and discuss (from a distance) any abnormalities with your crop advisor as soon as they are discovered, is crucial.

• Customized service via tagging: If you see something unusual in the greenhouse or you just have a question about the data in e-Gro, you can tag a person who’s been added to the Permissions Page and notify them. You can also tag your Customer Success Manager or Grodan Business Support Manager. This will allow us to provide you with better service and advice by simply tagging your Grodan contact and updating them about the situation. Of course, you can still call or e-mail us, but within e-Gro, we can easily access the complete picture and go back to other modules and see more information around the plant growth. This will allow us to see from a distance, more growing insights and will help us to provide you with more customized solutions. This also includes external crop advisors who have access to your e-Gro account.
  
  
• All relevant data in one spot for informed decision making: Once you click on ‘Notifications’, you are immediately taken to the message where you’re tagged. Depending on the content of the message, you or your team members can give advice or gain additional insight by linking directly to the other e-Gro modules such as Crop Module and Reports Module. e-Gro provides the complete picture of crop growth. Being able to access key crop data and greenhouse information on climate and other variables without having to log in to a different online environment, provides context and gives you an opportunity to make faster comparisons and better decisions. Especially in the newest Reports Module this is a great addition. Reports captures all the key information and via tagging, you can quickly notify your peers, Grodan Business Support or your external advisor in case you see something unusual.
  
  
• Your own digital library and better digital compliancy: this feature saves all the tags, questions and observations tied to a specific day/week. You can easily go back to that moment and see the conversation within e-Gro. The platform helps you to build a compliant digital library of your questions and notifications within your team, always tied to a specific crop, week etc.
